Fujitrans Motorpool opened in Long Hau Industrial Park
In September 2019, The Motorpool of Fujitrans (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. has been officially operated.
The Motorpool has a total area of 26,685 sqm, accommodating more than 1,300 cars, total investment of more than US$ 5 million. Located in Long Hau Industrial Park, Long An province, the work includes storage, office building, workshop for maintenance and auxiliary items.
Fujitrans Vietnam is the 8th branch of Fujitrans Corporation in ASEAN, besides Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia. With the investment and operation of the Motorpool, Fujitrans aims to expand their operations in the field of logistics and value-added services for imported cars.
The project is expected to be a new successful step in Vietnam, meeting an increasing demand of the automobile market, which is now considered as a potential market after ATIGA Agreement, eliminating import tax for vehicles imported from ASEAN.
Selecting Long Hau Industrial Park as an investment location, Mr. Takahiro Koshiji, General Director of Fujitrans (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. said: “Location is the most important part for us that we chose Long Hau. The park is close to SPCT port, which is quite convenient for trucks coming in and out.
Besides, in the future, there are some targets and the government plan to have a motorway and intersection close to Long Hau Industrial Park, like Nguyen Van Linh – Nguyen Huu Tho intersection. So the roading infrastructure is also going to be a key point for our future business.”
Long Hau Industrial Park own a strategic location. The park is only 3km from Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc port and SPCT port, 25km from Cat Lai port, 12km from Phu My Hung urban area, 19km from city center.
In addtion, with an advantage of easily connecting to HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, HCMC – Trung Luong Expressway and Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway in the future, goods will be quickly transported to the Southeast region and Mekong Delta provinces.
