Tan Cang – Hiep Phuoc seaport come into operation
The strategic location of the Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc in doing business in Vietnam
The shipping lines in Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc passing Soai Rap channel will shorten the water way by nearly 30 km, save 2 hours in transporting compared with the passing Long Tau channel to get into Ho Chi Minh City area; halved the pilot cost, fuel cost than using the old route. Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc come into operation will play an important role to reduce the overload of Cat Lai Port , more over Tan Cang- Hiep Phuoc is capable to receive ships of 50,000 DWT, meanwhile Cat Lai Port can only receive ships of 30,000 DWT.

Second phase of this project is being undertaken and shall be completed on June 2015
