Instruction of Zoom: an online meeting platform

COVID-19 is having complicated developments in Vietnam in particular and around the world. Thus, setting up direct meetings with investors, partners and customers from different countries and territories will be fewer obstacles and limitations. To solve that problem, Long Hau Joint Stock Company (LHC - the investor of Long Hau Industrial Park) has been pioneering in using the Zoom application for connecting and creating online seminars (webinar) in the field of Industrial Real Estate.

LHC is implementing online meetings and webinars with customers & partners

1. Register a new account with Zoom

• Open any browser like Chrome, Firefox, Coc Coc, then visit https://zoom.us
• In the upper right-hand corner of the home page, select SIGN UP, IT'S FREE to register a new account
• Enter your email address and click Sign Up

After Sign Up, Zoom will send an activation email to your registered email address, access your email, click Active Account to activate your account.

After clicking, your website will transfer to the information fill-in page (first name, last name, and password).

After filling in the information, click Continue.

After clicking Continue, the next page inviting everyone to join Zoom will appear, here you can invite your friends to use Zoom by filling in the email and then clicking Invite.

You can skip this step. So far, the process of creating your Zoom account is complete.

2.Join a meeting with Zoom

a. In case the Zoom application is not installed

• Open any browser like Chrome, Firefox, Coc Coc, then visit https://zoom.us
• In the upper right-hand corner of the home page, select SIGN IN to login to your account you have created before.

• After successful login, in the upper right menu, select JOIN A MEETING. Here you enter the ID or the meeting room link. This information will be provided by the HOST of the meeting room.

• After filling in the room you want to join, the website will ask you to download the Zoom application.

• After completing the configuration, the meeting room window will open, select Join with Computer Audio to complete.

b. In case the Zoom application is already installed

• Log in to the Zoom application, fill in the username and password you have created before.

• The main interface of the application. There are different options for you:
  • New Meeting: create a new meeting (Host)
  • Join: Join an ongoing meeting
  • Schedule: schedule the next meeting
  • Share screen: sharing the screen for partners

• The interface of new meeting will look like as below. Copy the Invitation URL and send it to everyone to invite them to join a meeting hosted by you.

• Or you can Join a meeting by copy the Meeting ID and paste in the box below.
