As Associate in Dezan Shira & Associates’ International Business Advisory department and coordinating the team in Hanoi, Filippo Bortoletti is specialized in guiding international clients through the market entry processes in Vietnam. He is also part of Dezan Shira & Associates’ Transfer Pricing team in Asia specialized in International Tax planning, advising and proactively assisting clients in navigating and complying with the ever-evolving regulatory environment in Vietnam and throughout the Asia region.
Biography
Filippo Bortoletti is collaborating with Dezan Shira & Associates’ Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh offices’ International Business Advisory teams and global Transfer Pricing team. In his role since July 2017, in quality of Transfer Pricing expert, Filippo is supporting the development of Dezan Shira & Associates’ Transfer Pricing services in Vietnam.
Moreover, Filippo advises multinational clients on market entry, corporate establishment and compliance in conjunction with his colleagues. He assists international clients in their pre-investment planning trips, and coordinates with the firm’s Business Intelligence team in managing legal and regulatory monitoring solutions for the ASEAN region. He also contributes to ASEAN Briefing and Vietnam Briefing publications.
Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates Filippo worked at Boscolo & Partners specializing in all aspects of accounting, audit and taxation in Italy, then focusing on international tax planning and compliance with Transfer Pricing rules in Europe. He also accumulated experience in business modelling at World Trade Center Trieste helping local start-ups as project manager in their inception stage.
Filippo has a master degree in Economics and possesses a strong understanding of accounting, auditing and tax.

As Manager of the firm’s Ho Chi Minh City International Business Advisory team Trent is responsible for guiding international clients through their market entry process into Vietnam and the wider ASEAN region, from pre-entry assessment to corporate structuring, and ongoing support in conjunction with his tax, accounting and payroll colleagues. 
Trent has a wealth of experience working in Asia, having been based in Vietnam for over 5 years. Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Trent worked for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission assisting Australian businesses to develop business in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. His work included coordinating and implementing high-level Australia-Vietnam trade missions and pre-investment planning trips for private corporations, in addition to market research and consulting on market entry strategies and business matching in market.
Trent is a native of Adelaide in Australia, where he studied Commerce and Management at the University of Adelaide.
